Modelling Road Transport Decarbonisation Policy Mixes in Türkiye through 2035

This research investigates the emission reduction potential of alternative road transport decarbonisation policies in Türkiye through 2035. It combines Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index (LMDI) decomposition with a dynamic vehicle fleet stock-flow model to examine the historical drivers of transport emissions and simulate future policy outcomes.

The proposed framework integrates vehicle fleet transitions, alternative fuel technologies, energy consumption, electricity demand, charging infrastructure, and policy interactions. Drawing on the United Kingdom as a reference case, the research aims to evaluate alternative policy combinations and their potential effects under explicit assumptions and uncertainty.

The study is associated with an application to the TUBITAK 2210-C Domestic Priority Areas Master’s Scholarship Programme, under the priority area of Modelling and Simulation Technologies.

Sustainability Disclosure, Financial Performance and Corporate Governance in BIST-Listed Banks

This planned research examines the relationship between corporate sustainability reporting, financial performance, and corporate governance among banks listed on Borsa Istanbul (BIST) during the 2023–2025 period.

The study proposes constructing a sustainability disclosure index and investigating its relationship with Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and corporate governance indicators. Particular attention will be given to changes in the sustainability reporting environment in 2024 and their implications for the comparability and interpretation of disclosures across reporting periods.

The research aims to distinguish changes in disclosure practices from potential relationships with financial and governance outcomes, using publicly available banking and sustainability reporting data.
